Squamscott River Academy (SRA) is a New Hampshire Department of Education certified private school, supported by the Mount Prospect Academy family of programs. Our school provides trauma-informed methods and practices in a small therapeutic setting for girls, ensuring a supportive and effective educational experience. Responsibilities:
- Assist educators in providing instruction and supervision.
- Support students’ academic coursework and Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Participate in class activities, including physical education and art.
- Assist with behavioral interventions and substitute lessons as needed.
- Maintain documentation such as attendance and incident reports.
- Supervise transitional times, lunch, and other school activities.
- Participate in community-based activities and appointments.
- Provide transportation for student activities.
- Attend student and staff meetings.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow all company policies.
Requirements:
- 21 years of age or older
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Satisfactory background check
- Associate’s Degree or higher preferred
- Experience interacting with children/youth (e.g., camp counselor, coach, babysitting)
