Perform detailed review and validation of data and source documents (e.g., blueprints, permits, legal, mortgage, and tax documentation) to ensure accuracy prior to data entry.
Accurately enter, compile, sort, and verify data using keyboards, scanners, and custom software interfaces.
Identify and correct data entry errors, or report them to supervisors, maintaining high standards of accuracy.
Compare data with source documents and re-enter data in verification formats to detect discrepancies.
Store, organize, and maintain completed documents in designated locations.
Maintain logs of activities and completed work for tracking and auditing purposes.
Download data from online sources and import it into specialized databases.
Communicate with team members and external vendors to resolve unclear information and coordinate document pick-up/drop-off schedules.
Exercise critical thinking and problem-solving skills to proactively flag, investigate, and resolve data inconsistencies.
Manage personal and team time effectively to meet deadlines and productivity goals.
Demonstrate strong written communication skills appropriate to various audiences.
Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying and eliminating unnecessary or redundant processes.
