Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our restaurant. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality to create memorable dining experiences.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials or promotions.
Assist with guest inquiries and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
Handle phone calls with professionalism, addressing inquiries about the menu, reservations, and special requests.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and dining area.
Support guest relations by addressing any concerns or feedback promptly.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Host/Host or in food service is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
Experience in restaurant or hotel environments is advantageous.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
