Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Client Engagement to lead the organization’s efforts in expanding market presence, increasing revenue, and building & strengthening client relationships. This role plays a critical part in identifying growth opportunities for our manufacturing facility, cultivating new business relationships, and enhancing client satisfaction to drive long-term success and profitability. This position reports to the President/CEO.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead client onboarding, training, and support efforts to ensure satisfaction and maximize value.
- Drive production floor requirements based on client feedback.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve client retention, loyalty, and engagement.
- Support basic client technical needs and be able to relay them to the correct department.
- Travel to clients and vendors to maintain positive relationships and address production challenges.
- Collaborate with internal teams to advocate for client needs and enhance the overall client experience.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.
- Present tailored solutions to prospective clients, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
- Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
- Represent the company at industry events and maintain a professional image that reflects client expectations.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned to support operational and strategic goals.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in sales or marketing.
- BA/BS preferred.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of precision manufacturing and CNC machining processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to compose, type and proof materials; establish priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong technical ability and proficiency communicating technical concepts clearly and professionally with both customers and internal teams
- Knowledgeable with ITAR, NIST and other government certifications
- AS9100 familiarity is a plus
- Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office and advanced Internet research/usage.
- Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
- A professional appearance and telephone manner is essential.
- Ability to travel, including local travel as well as some out-of-the-area and overnight travel is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
