We are hiring for a Technical Service Representative
Position Overview
The successful candidate will support our dealers and customers by way of troubleshooting issues and providing courteous and responsive customer service. Additionally, maintain all documentation as it relates to this position
Duties and Responsibilities
Supporting Dealers and Customers
· Troubleshooting
· Electrical
· Hydraulic
· Mechanical
· Machine performance
· Part identification
· Machine optimization
· Provide courteous and responsive customer service
Administrative
- Through documentation of all customer/dealer interactions
- Assist customers with coordinating warranty repairs
- Submit engineering requests to improve or correct general documentation or flaws
- Compile potential quality issues through tracking reoccurring problems
- Technical guidance in creation of technical documentation and publications
- Creation and distribution of bulletins and notices
General
· Ability to work after hours or be on call as needed
· Coordinate cross departmentally
· Perform all duties in accordance with all safety requirements
· Remote support for internal Field Service Technicians
Required Skills and Experience
- High School Diploma, Technical School Diploma, or GED
- Excellent organizational and communication skills (English)
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to multi-task
- Self-motivated
Preferred Qualifications
- ERP/PLM experience
- Experience in manufacturing, servicing, operating, or supporting heavy duty equipment
- Technical knowledge of hydraulic, electric, and/or mechanical systems relating to heavy duty equipment
- Ability to read schematics
- Bilingual (French, Japanese, Spanish)
- Analytical experience
