Position Summary:
In this role you will provide on-site and remote technical support on all aspects of CBI type equipment. Day to day duties include installing, troubleshooting, modifying, advising, training, and repairing CBI and similar type equipment either in-person or remotely.

As a Field Service Technician at Terex/CBI, based in Newton, NH, you'll play a pivotal role. Below is a brief description of role responsibilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide both on-site and remote technical support for CBI equipment. Including but not limited to: o Fitting, welding, and repairing equipment as necessary.
- Electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- • Operate CBI provided service vehicles in a responsible manner, follow all Federal Motor Carrier requirements.
- Maintain accurate reports and tool truck inventory.
- Maintain a current working knowledge of all CBI equipment. Training provided.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance.
- Must be able to adapt to different types of working hours as per the job requires.
- Ability to travel extensively as necessary o Minimum of 8-hour days
- Maximum of 13-hour days (Rare occasions)
- Submit all reports in either digital or handwritten format in a thorough and timely manner as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience
- High school or technical school graduate (will consider interns)
- 1 + years’ experience in heavy equipment field repair, preferred
- Working knowledge of electrical and hydraulic, helpful
- Blueprint and low-voltage electrical/hydraulic schematic reading ability
- Problem-solving and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly reliable and punctual
- Good driving record
- Current Valid Driver’s License
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to think outside the box
- Mechanic set up to 1 ¼ o Tools above 1 ¼ will be provided
- Specialty tools will be provided
- Pneumatic 3/8-1/2 impact gun or cordless* o ¾ -1” pneumatic will be provided
- Basic electrical tools
- *Tool replacement program available for tools broken on the job
