The Vice President (VP) of Communications at House Buyers of America is a critical member of the leadership team, providing direct and strategic communication expertise to create a robust, engaging narrative and foster a transparent, trusting workplace environment.
Responsibilities
- To plan, develop, and execute an integrated communication strategy that aligns with House Buyers of America's overall business plan, corporate vision, and values.
- Manage all internal and external communications, actively staying up-to-date on industry trends to keep messaging relevant and impactful.
- Craft compelling communications, such as press releases, speeches, articles and internal memos to ensure clear, concise, comprehensible, and consistent messaging.
- Act as the company spokesperson, developing strong media relationships and managing public relations matters to shape and enhance the company's image.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the communications team, fostering a culture of high-performance and continuous learning.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on communication performance and effectiveness, adapting strategies as needed to maximize impact.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Communications, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in communications or public relations, with at least 5 years of leadership experience.
- Proven success in designing and executing communication strategies at an organizational level.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to develop clear, impactful messages to diverse audiences.
- Strong understanding of the real estate industry and related legislative landscapes.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
