Job Purpose
A Sleep Health Referral Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Sleep Health Referral team and assisting the department in maintaining maximum efficiency while ensuring compliance with documentation requirements and fostering strong relationships with key prescribers and referral sources.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely collection of required clinical documentation (e.g.,
- prescriptions, sleep study reports, clinical notes).
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key referring providers and prescribers.
- Develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with physicians, sleep specialists, and healthcare partners.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to increase sales for the assigned accounts while maintaining satisfactory customer service
- Process new and recurring orders via fax, phone, or email in accordance with Reliable Respiratory’s processing procedures and guidelines
- Handle incoming communications from referrals in a timely, professional, and friendly manner,
- Verify insurance online or by phone and documents information in Reliable Respiratory’s electronic health records system
- Understand insurance coverage and allowable amounts; verify patient demographic information, insurance authorization, and benefit information-updating as needed
- Ensure completion of worklists assigned
- Comply with all policies and procedures established by the company and the company's regulatory bodies
- Display exemplary customer service in all interactions
- Other tasks and duties as required
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Must be eligible to work in the United States and not require work authorization from us now or in the future
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 1 year of customer service experience

- Professional computer experience (especially Microsoft Office Suite)
