I am looking for a gardener for my business, Earth Song Gardening for the 2026 season, April - October (with the option to extend into future seasons as desired). This person will assist me in creating and caring for beautiful outdoor landscapes throughout the Upper Valley. I am looking for someone who is reliable, hard-working, and passionate about caring for plants. Additionally, this person will work with efficiency and strong attention to detail. Opportunities exist for extending work into the winter for someone with skills and experience in related home and yard work (carpentry, painting, small tree work, snow removal, and/or other tasks), but this is not required.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain flower and vegetable gardens for clients throughout the Upper Valley
- Weed, mulch, edge, prune and water, among other tasks
- Plant new flowers and shrubs and sometimes entire gardens
- Work from spring through fall in various weather conditions and light to heavy physical labor
- Use a variety of hand tools (provided by the company) such as clippers, rakes, and digging tools
- Work with attention to detail, beauty, and neatness throughout the day
- Engage with clients and co-workers in a friendly and professional manner
- Work independently as well as part of a team of two
Opportunities for expanding the job may include:
- Design new gardens
- Winter work in other types of home and yard improvement as listed above
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
