Proulx Oil & Propane is a family-owned, locally trusted company with over 82 years of service across New Hampshire, Southern Maine, and the North Shore of Massachusetts. As our service department continues to grow, we are hiring licensed HVAC Service Technicians who are dependable, safety-focused, and take pride in their craft.
This is a full-time, year-round role supporting residential and light commercial customers.
Requirements (must meet to be considered)
- Current NH Gas License
- Graduate of an accredited trade school
- 1–3 years HVAC service and installation experience
- Proficient in troubleshooting, service, and repair of HVAC systems
- Valid driver’s license
- History of safe work practices
Pre-employment background check, drug screening, and driving record review required.
Preferred Certifications & Experience
- ME Gas License (plus)
- EPA Type I & Type II Certification
- NH Oil Heating Technician Voluntary Certification
- NORA Oil Heat Certifications
- A/C service and repair experience
Responsibilities
- Install, service, and repair boilers, furnaces, water heaters, and fireplaces
- Perform gas checks, equipment cleaning, and seasonal maintenance
- Diagnose system issues and perform accurate repairs
- Complete service documentation for billing and compliance
- Communicate professionally with customers in homes and businesses
- Collaborate with fellow technicians and dispatch team

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
