The Key Account Manager is the primary owner of our most valuable client relationships. You will nurture and grow a portfolio of key accounts while designing and executing end-to-end promotional campaigns that drive engagement, bookings, and revenue. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role at the intersection of sales, marketing, and client success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Account Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a defined portfolio of key accounts, building deep, trust- based relationships with decision makers.
- Develop and execute tailored account growth plans with clear revenue targets, timelines, and KPIs.
- Conduct regular account reviews to identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities.
- Monitor account health and proactively address any risks to retention or satisfaction.
- Actively add to the pipeline through prospecting and closing new business.
Promotional Campaign Management
- Manage the full promotional lifecycle for assigned accounts — from on-air and broadcast planning through email campaigns, social media coordination, and media interviews.
- Collaborate with internal marketing and content teams to develop compelling, on-brand campaign assets and messaging; select appropriate audience lists and schedule email deployments to ensure the right message reaches the right audience at the right time.
- Build and maintain detailed promotional calendars, ensuring all deadlines, deliverables, and stakeholder approvals are met on time.
- Track and report on campaign performance metrics; use data insights to optimize future campaigns.
- Coordinate media on-air campaigns and interview scheduling, preparing account partners and spokespeople with talking points and briefing materials.
Strategic Planning & Reporting
- Design and implement sales and strategic plans aligned to quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Create and manage sales and travel budgets; monitor spend and assess ROI across promotional activities.
- Prepare accurate and timely reports on account performance, campaign results, and pipeline activity for senior leadership.
- Stay current on trends in group travel, cruise, and tour marketing to bring fresh ideas to clients and campaigns.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a relevant field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in account management, sales, or a client-facing marketing role.
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-channel promotional campaigns (broadcast/on-air, email, digital, or media).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and campaigns simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to clients and appearing in on-air or media settings.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and campaign management or email marketing tools.
- Outstanding negotiation, influencing, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience creating and tracking KPIs and budgets.
- A proactive, team-first attitude with the flexibility to take on additional projects and cross-functional responsibilities as needed.
Preferred
- Experience in the travel, hospitality, cruise, or tour industry.
- Familiarity with group travel marketing and promotions.
- Experience coordinating broadcast media or radio campaigns.
- Knowledge of email marketing best practices and marketing automation platforms.
