About Us Polar Environmental Inc. is a growing environmental services company serving our community through used cooking oil collection, grease trap cleaning, and related liquid waste services. We are expanding our team and looking for a motivated, driven individual to help us grow our customer base across New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and southern Maine.
The Opportunity This is a full-time sales role with significant earning potential and room for advancement as the company continues to scale. You'll spend most of your time prospecting and conducting sales in the field to restaurants, food service operators, and commercial accounts within our service territory. If you're a self-starter who wants to be measured on results and rewarded accordingly, this is it.
What You'll Do
- Identify, prospect, and close new restaurant / commercial accounts for used cooking oil collection and grease trap services
- Build and manage a pipeline of leads using our CRM (Pipedrive)
- Conduct outbound calls, emails, and in-person visits to restaurants, food service operators, institutional kitchens, and other commercial customers
- Perform on-site visits to assess customer needs, quote services, and close agreements
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing accounts; identify opportunities for service expansion
- Coordinate with operations to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery for new customers
- Other duties as assigned
Territory & Schedule
- Primary territory: New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and southern Maine
- Full-time, Monday–Friday with occasional early mornings or evenings to align with restaurant operator availability
- Fully remote with expectation of travel to meet with prospects in the field
What We're Looking For
- Prior sales experience preferred; B2B, route-based, or food service/hospitality industry experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated track record of hitting or exceeding quota
- Strong cold-calling and prospecting skills — comfortable picking up the phone and walking into a kitchen
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Self-motivated and able to manage a pipeline independently without close supervision
- Organized and detail-oriented; disciplined about CRM hygiene and follow-up
- Comfortable with technology (CRM, email tools, basic spreadsheets)
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for field visits (mileage reimbursed)
- Bilingual candidates preferred (any second language)
- Must pass pre-employment background and reference check
Compensation
- Base salary of $40,000/year, plus a multi-layered commission and residual plan with uncapped upside
- New account commissions: flat bonus per new account signed, with additional per-location bonuses for multi-site customers
- UCO residuals: ongoing per-gallon commission on collected used cooking oil, plus a rebate-spread component
- Quarterly performance bonuses tied to net-new account targets, with escalating payouts across multiple tiers
- Mileage reimbursement for field activity
- Healthcare premium reimbursement up to $200 per month
- Opportunity for advancement into leadership roles as the team grows, as well as flexing into different roles at the company
