Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience operating CNC machinery. This role involves fabricating precision parts and components according to detailed specifications, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process.
Duties
- Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines, to produce parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical documents to determine machining processes.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges to ensure accuracy in dimensions.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the manufacturing process.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Willing to learn new techniques and processes.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery.
- Proficiency in operating Fanuc-controlled CNC machines.
- Experience with CAD software for designing parts and components.
- Familiarity with using power tools and manual machining equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Competence in using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
