About this opportunity
This position is responsible for performing the safe service and installation of propane and oil equipment on a daily basis.
The anticipated pay range for this position is $75,000 to $100,000+
What your role will look like
- Construction, servicing and maintenance of Eastern owned fuel storage facilities
- Drive to customer locations and repair and/or install propane equipment (may require lifting carrying, ladder climbing, etc. in all weather conditions, day and night)
- Discern colors for the safe troubleshooting and repair of propane and oil equipment
- Conduct daily pre-trip vehicle inspection and operate company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner, in compliance with state/federal motor vehicle laws
- Due to equipment, fuels and other products being utilized, individual must remain alert and focused to complete work in a safe manner, including reporting any unsafe conditions to your supervisor immediately
- Interact with customer and co-workers in a respectful and courteous manner and maintain confidentiality of customer information
- Completion of paperwork in a neat, timely and accurate manner
- Be receptive to and competently use new technologies
- Function effectively and efficiently in this safety sensitive position
What you’ll bring to this role
- Current NH Gasfitter License (plus Maine Gasfitter license a bonus)
- Valid state license (Preferred Class B CDL)
- Current tanker and hazmat endorsements preferred
- Minimum 5-7 years technical experience with propane and oil
- Must be minimum 21 yrs old
- Submit to and pass Department of Transportation (DOT) physical drug/alcohol tests
- Ability to perform all functions of the job in every weather condition, day and night
