Live Free Remodeling is a full-service remodeling company specializing in interior and exterior renovations, additions, new construction, and ADUs. We are looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter who can take ownership of projects and lead a small crew of 2–4 people.
What You’ll Do
- Lead a crew of 2–4 on remodeling, addition, and new construction projects
- Serve as the primary point of contact with homeowners on the jobsite
- Perform and oversee framing, finish carpentry, siding, windows, and flooring
- Keep the job moving efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Communicate clearly and regularly with the office
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 7 years of hands-on carpentry experience
- Strong skills in framing, finish work, siding/windows, and flooring
- Ability to lead a small crew and keep projects on schedule
- Own basic hand and cordless tools + reliable truck
- Clean driver’s license
- Fluent English
- Independent, organized, and reliable
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Schedule & Work Environment
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Typical hours: 7:00–3:30 or 8:00–4:30 (depending on the jobsite)
- We respect your evenings and weekends — family comes first
- Laid-back but professional environment
Compensation & Benefits
- $32–$37 per hour
- Project performance bonuses based on managing labor hours within budget (typically $500–$2,000 per project when targets are met)
- $2,000 sign-on bonus (paid after successful completion of 90-day probationary period)
- Paid time off
- $50/month tool allowance (starts after 30 days)
