Responsibilities
As a Plumbing Foreman, you will:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, specifications, and applicable building codes to ensure quality and compliance
- Lead and perform the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, including piping, fixtures, equipment, and appliances
- Coordinate plumbing work with other trades, including electricians and HVAC technicians
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues and develop effective solutions in a timely manner
- Inspect completed and ongoing work to ensure quality, accuracy, and code compliance
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and job progress
- Perform pipe threading, soldering, welding, and other plumbing-related tasks
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized plumbing equipment
- Handle and transport equipment and materials, including heavy lifting when required
- Help ensure jobsites remain organized, safe, and productive
- Provide leadership and direction to plumbing crews to keep projects moving efficiently
Qualifications
We're looking for a skilled plumbing professional who has:
- A valid New Hampshire Journeyman Plumber license
- Strong mechanical knowledge and a thorough understanding of plumbing systems
- Previous experience leading crews or managing plumbing jobsites
- The ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and building codes
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialized plumbing equipment
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- The ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- HVAC experience is a plus
