About Rotor
Rotor is a startup based in Nashua, NH that is revolutionizing how aircraft are piloted. We are building autonomous full-scale helicopters designed to make helicopters and other VTOLs radically safer and more accessible.
We’re a 40-person team that has successfully built and flown two R44 Airtrucks including all the flight controls, communications, and software technology that gives pilots better situational awareness than the cockpit, enabling operations at night and in low visibility and preventing accidents caused by pilot disorientation and human error.
About the Role
We are looking to hire a Parts and Supply Chain Coordinator who will own all aspects of parts ordering, receiving, shipping, vendor relationships, and inventory management in support of our aircraft build and prototyping programs. This is a hands-on role requiring close coordination with engineering, production, and finance to ensure the right parts are in the right place at the right time. This position is full time and based fully onsite at our Nashua, NH facility.
Primary Responsibilities
· Manage end-to-end parts ordering, including generating purchase orders, tracking lead times, and expediting critical shipments.
· Oversee receiving of incoming parts and materials, including inspection, documentation, and accurate entry into inventory systems.
· Coordinate outbound shipping and logistics for parts, components, and equipment to partners, vendors, and other locations.
· Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, including sourcing new suppliers, negotiating pricing and terms, and managing vendor performance.
· Own inventory management across the parts room and other storage areas, including cycle counts, stock levels, and min/max reorder points.
· Maintain accurate inventory records in the company's MRP system, ensuring data integrity across parts, bills of materials, and work orders.
· Partner with engineering and production teams to forecast parts demand and ensure material availability for build schedules.
· Track and resolve supply chain issues, including shortages, delays, quality discrepancies, and vendor non-conformances.
· Support import/export logistics and documentation for domestic and international shipments as needed.
Additional Responsibilities
· Help organize and label parts, tools, and supplies to keep the parts room and storage areas clean and efficient.
· Support cost analysis and budgeting related to parts procurement and inventory carrying costs.
· Assist with audits and reconciliations of physical inventory against system records.
· Identify and implement process improvements for procurement, receiving, and inventory workflows.
· Collaborate with finance on purchase order approvals, invoice matching, and vendor payment coordination.
Position Expectations
· Work onsite at our Nashua, NH facility; this role is not eligible for remote work.
· Ensure timely, accurate procurement and delivery of parts to avoid production delays.
· Maintain organized, auditable records of inventory transactions and vendor communications.
· Communicate proactively with engineering, production, and leadership on parts availability and supply chain risks.
· Represent the company professionally in all vendor and supplier interactions.
Requirements
Candidate must have:
● 1-3+ years of experience in parts management, procurement, or supply chain roles, ideally but not required in aerospace or a related industry.
● Hands-on experience with an MRP (Material Requirements Planning) system; experience with tools such as MRPeasy, or similar strongly preferred.
● Demonstrated experience managing vendor relationships, including sourcing, negotiation, and performance management.
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage a high volume of parts and orders simultaneously.
● Experience with receiving, shipping, and inventory control processes.
● Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, production, and finance teams.
● Proficient in English language.
● Ability to work well on a team.
● Independent thinking and problem-solving skills.
● Good communication skills.
● Ability to work in a safe manner.
Salary
$65,000-$75,000 base salary and competitive equity depending on experience.
