We're a fun, energetic Irish lifestyle clothing company based in Salem, NH. Between our showroom, Irish festivals, outdoor markets, and special events throughout New England and beyond, we're always on the move!
We're looking for an outgoing, dependable, hardworking Event Sales Associate who loves people, brings positive energy wherever they go, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and get the job done.
This isn't your typical retail job! One day you might be helping customers in our Salem showroom, and the next you could be setting up shop at a huge Irish festival, enjoying live music, meeting hundreds of people, and representing a brand that's all about Irish pride, great clothing, and GOOD VIBES!
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing outstanding customer service with a friendly attitude and genuine smile.
- Helping customers find the perfect Wicked Irish merchandise.
- Traveling to festivals, markets, and events throughout New England and occasionally beyond.
- Loading, unloading, setting up, and breaking down our event displays, tents, tables, and merchandise.
- Processing sales and handling transactions accurately.
- Keeping our showroom, displays, and merchandise neat, organized, and looking great.
- Helping prepare merchandise and equipment before events.
- Representing Wicked Irish with pride, professionalism, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
- Jumping in wherever needed. We're a small business, and teamwork is everything!
Who We're Looking For
- A PEOPLE PERSON! Someone who genuinely enjoys meeting people and striking up conversations.
- Someone with a positive personality who brings good energy to work.
- Dependable, punctual, honest, and responsible. If you say you're going to be there, we count on you!
- Physically capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and moving merchandise and event equipment.
- A self-starter who sees something that needs to be done and DOES IT without being asked.
- Detail-oriented and willing to keep our displays and merchandise looking their best.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, early mornings, and occasional evenings.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel regionally.
- Previous retail or event sales experience is a plus, but a great attitude and willingness to learn are just as important!
A Few Things You Should Know
We're a small, hardworking team, and everybody pitches in. Some days are busy, some days are long, and setting up and breaking down events takes real physical effort.
But we also have a LOT of fun!
You'll meet some wonderful people, experience great festivals, enjoy Irish music and culture, and become part of a growing local business that takes pride in what we do.
This is a per diem, as-needed position. Hours will vary depending on our event calendar, showroom needs, and seasonal demand. Weekend availability is particularly important.
We're not looking for someone who wants to stand around waiting for the next customer. We're looking for someone who takes initiative, stays busy, and makes things happen!
