Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Family Law Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a background in family law, but such is not a requirement. This role requires organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while providing comprehensive support to attorneys.

Responsibilities

Assist attorneys in preparing for family law cases, including divorce, custody, and support matters.
Manage case files through document management systems, ensuring all information is organized and accessible.
Perform document review and proofreading to ensure clarity and correctness before submission.
Maintain communication with clients regarding case status and required documentation.
Assist in trial preparation by organizing exhibits, preparing trial binders, and coordinating schedules.
Support attorneys with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and clerical duties as needed.

Qualifications

Proven paralegal experience in family law or related fields is beneficial.
Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; excellent proofreading abilities are necessary.
Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously without compromising quality.
Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and colleagues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
