Pit Master Assistant

603 Bar-B-Q – Concord, NH

603 Bar-B-Q is hiring a Pit Master Assistant to join our fast-growing team. This is a hands-on role for someone with a strong work ethic who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen and wants to grow with one of New Hampshire’s top BBQ restaurants.

Schedule

5–6 days per week
Early mornings required- 2am
Overtime available weekly once trained
Schedule times are approximate — flexibility required to stay until work is complete

Responsibilities

Trim, season, and prep meats (brisket, ribs, pork belly, and more)
Assist Pit Master with daily pit operations
Prepare fresh house-made sides daily
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and chemical handling procedures
Assist with catering and daily cleanup

Qualifications

Strong work ethic; reliable and punctual
Coachable, respectful, and team-oriented
Restaurant/Kitchen experience
Comfortable working in tight spaces and fast-paced environments
BBQ or catering experience a plus, but not required

Physical Requirements

Stand for long periods
Lift up to 50 lbs
Work around heat, smoke, and sharp tools
