Duties

Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and organizing materials
Load and unload construction materials and equipment safely and efficiently
Operate basic tools and machinery under supervision, such as shovels, wheelbarrows, and power tools
Support skilled tradespeople by holding materials, measuring, and performing basic tasks as directed
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and removing hazards
Follow instructions from supervisors to ensure timely completion of tasks
Conduct routine inspections of work areas to identify potential safety issues or obstacles

Qualifications

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
Basic understanding of construction site safety practices and protocols (training provided if needed)
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow directions accurately
