Full Charge Bookkeeper

TRIGGER(HOUSE, an experiential marketing agency based in Portsmouth, NH, is on the hunt for an experienced full charge bookkeeper.

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented candidate to join our team. This is a full-time position, encompassing accounting for multiple companies, and requires a strong understanding of general ledger and project/cost accounting. This is an admin level position and will be responsible for managing both internal and external resources at times, as well as working interactively with the broader T(H team.

Responsibilities:

● Prepare and enter journal entries in QuickBooks Online
● Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements using QuickBooks Online
● Post deposits/receipts for accounts and reconcile bank statements on a monthly basis
● Manage credit card posting, coding, and account reconciliation
● A/R, set up new clients, send out invoices, and follow up on late payments
● A/P, gather approvals, prepare, process, and code all vendor payments, including payments to independent contractors
● Prepare and process weekly payroll through QuickBooks Online Payroll
● Process and track employee paid time off (PTO) and expense reimbursements
● Manage the company’s healthcare and other benefits, answer questions and resolve employee issues
● Assist with new employee onboarding
● Ensure strict confidentiality of company financial and payroll records

Required Skills:

● 5 years of experience as a full charge bookkeeper
● 2+ years experience with QuickBooks Online and using QuickBooks Classes
● Proven problem-solving ability
● Close attention to detail
● Ability to collaborate with the broader T(H Team
● Strong Microsoft Office, Google docs, Google sheets, and email experience
● Mac OS Experience is a Plus

Pay Rate:

$25.00 to $30.00 per hour, commensurate with experience
