Duties

Safely operate delivery trucks along assigned routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Load, unload, and organize bakery products with care, including heavy lifting of cases and pallets.
Deliver orders promptly to retail stores, restaurants, or other clients while providing excellent customer service.
Communicate effectively with customers to confirm orders, answer questions, and promote additional products through upselling techniques.
Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including pricing adjustments and sales records.
Conduct merchandising activities by restocking shelves and ensuring product displays are attractive and organized.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance.

Requirements

Proven experience in commercial driving or route delivery roles; military driving experience is a plus.
Strong math skills for handling pricing adjustments and inventory counts.
Excellent communication skills for engaging with customers professionally and confidently.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes.
Organizational skills to manage delivery schedules, route planning, and paperwork accurately.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience in driving large vehicles preferred.
