Position Summary

The Physician Onboarding Coordinator is responsible for supporting Physician credentialing, licensing and onboarding process. Excellent, organized communication with external sources is required for efficient and successful completion of all files. The role is available on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

· Contact physicians with instructions for completing applications, needed documentation, confirming work history or background information and following up as needed, via email, phone or text

· Communicate with client, medical staff offices, and state boards via email, phone, or video calls on a daily basis

· Prepopulate, verify accuracy and submit applications

· Request or follow up on verifications of licensure, certifications, education, employment and references as needed per hospital and board regulations

· Monitor status to ensure all necessary items are received for privileges/licenses to be issued by deadlines

· Manage and coordinate IT and onboarding trainings with facility/client and provider

· Coordinate and track hardware shipments

· Update platform with clear and consistent notes

· Add privileges and licenses to platform as they are issued

· Communicate with internal delivery teams on status of files

· Escalate files as needed to Credentialing Team Lead

· Delegate items as needed to Credentialing Specialist

Work Environment

This is an office-based administrative position for a Physician Staffing firm growing triple digits year over year. We work very hard and are very results oriented but we also enjoy the team we have built and the success we have.

Qualifications

Ability to work independently and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in documentation
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint
Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain organized records in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships, create opportunities, and influence outcomes.
