We are a flourishing naturopathic family practice in Portsmouth, NH looking for a highly motivated, kind, compassionate Naturopathic Doctor with a desire to continually learn and collaborate for best possible patient outcomes. They would strive to provide the exceptional health care that our practice both embodies and has become well-known for in the community. We have a reputation for being a leader in holistic health care, with an ever-expanding new patient wait list and are looking to add the right doctor to add to our team.
The Naturopathic Doctor we seek would bring with them a strong passion for proactive, integrative family health care, as we are proud to serve patients from birth through the golden years. The successful candidate would ideally have work experience after graduation and see themselves as a growing and vital part of our practice and the surrounding community. They would exhibit a desire to engage in complex, chronic illnesses, vector-borne illnesses, longevity medicine and a passion for all phases of the healing process–from gentle lifestyle modifications and physical medicine to more complex interventions as needed. At the same time, the doctor would still be excited to offer wellness check ins for children, as well as for men and women of every age. Experience and strong desire to learn is essential, as we are looking for someone who can integrate into our practice quickly. We are open to introducing new modalities and services, and would be interested in the vitality, knowledge, and experiences you would add to our practice.
Duties
Typical job duties would include:
- Respond to patients’ medical issues with a holistic approach
- Order, interpret and advise on laboratory tests
- Analyze reports and test results to accurately diagnose and treat patients
- Educate, discuss and explain diagnoses, therapeutic interventions and treatments thoroughly with patients
- Follow all clinic policies and procedures
- Keep up to date with developments and therapeutic treatments
- Comply with federal and state privacy laws, always respecting patients’ confidentiality
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including intake, physical examinations and vital signs monitoring.
- Develop comprehensive individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, incorporating nutrition, lifestyle changes, naturopathic therapies and prescribing as appropriate .
- Provide care for pediatric patients, ensuring age-appropriate treatments, physical exams and communication.
- Administer injections as required, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques.
- Educate patients on nutrition and lifestyle modifications to support their health goals.
- Stay current with advancements in naturopathic and integrative medicine, integrating new techniques into practice.
- Desire to work collaboratively for better patient outcomes
- Ability and desire to administer and treat with physical medicine, homeopathy or other therapeutic specialties a plus
- Provide referrals when appropriate
Experience
- Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine (Required)
- Post graduate residency or other experience preferred
- ND License in the state of New Hampshire at the start of employment
- Previous experience in pediatrics is a plus but not mandatory
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50.00 - $175.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 36 per week
