CTR Group is currently seeking Shipfitters with Active DoD Clearance for the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, ME. Transitioning or former Navy members and current Reservists are also encouraged to apply for these cleared positions.
Pay Rate: $37.08 per Hour and Benefits. Plus $74 Per Diem for Non-Local Candidates.
REQUIREMENTS:
SHIPFITTER-Repair experience: Minimum 5 years
Must be US citizen
Resumes demonstrating ship repair
Must be Dbids eligible
Must be able to pass tack test
Must be able to read blueprints
- Must have at least 5 years of experience as a Shipfitter in a Naval / Shipyard environment.
- Must have Ship Repair experience, preferably 5 years
- Proficiently skilled in multi-pass tack welding
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and drawings
- Must successfully complete a criminal background screen and drug test
- DoD Clearance is required
