Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Investor Relations Associate to support our growing investor relations efforts. This individual will play a critical role in maintaining strong relationships with current and prospective investors, supporting fundraising efforts, and ensuring accurate and compelling communications around the firm’s strategies, performance, and market positioning.
You’ll work closely with senior members of the investment firm to help deliver a best-in-class investor experience and contribute to the firm’s long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the creation of marketing and fundraising materials, including pitch decks, RFPs/DDQs, factsheets, case studies, and quarterly reports.
- Assist in the preparation of investor presentations, portfolio updates, and responses to ad hoc investor inquiries.
- Maintain and update the investor CRM system with contact details, meeting notes, and follow-ups.
- Help create, facilitate and coordinate investor meetings, roadshows, annual meetings, and capital raising events.
- Collaborate with the investment team to gather data for investor communications and fund reporting.
- Track fundraising activity, capital flows, and investor engagement metrics.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor strategies, and market commentary relevant to real assets and institutional investment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Up to 2 years of experience in investor relations, investment banking, private equity, real estate, infrastructure, or asset management.
- Strong analytical and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM tools (e.g. Hubspot).
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with real assets investing, fund structures (e.g., closed-end/private funds), and institutional LP expectations is preferred.
Preferred Attributes
- Exposure to and experience in supporting fundraising or investor relations at a private investment firm.
- Knowledge of private placement memorandums (PPMs), limited partnership agreements (LPAs), and other fund documents.
- Comfort working with confidential information and high-level stakeholders.
