Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our Dover, NH team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing comprehensive administrative support. This position requires excellent time management skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Oversee logistics for shipping and receiving functions, such as creating mailing labels and coordinating with vendors when needed.
- Assist with the distribution of packing slips and follow the progress of all orders to ensure shipping dates are achieved on time.
- Maintain the organization and storage of finished stock products through recordkeeping procedures.
- Track and maintain backstock inventory levels by using recording procedures.
- Monitor the use of production materials and maintain inventory levels with monthly reports.
- Organize documents related to production, operations, or administrative functions. This includes electronically filing, uploading to databases, or forwarding to other team members in the organization.
- Work with members of the purchasing team to submit purchase requests, track progress on accepted submissions, and assist with managing orders in QuickBooks.
- Maintain general inventory needs throughout the building, including both the production and office areas. Responsible for receiving requests from members of production for orders, as well as independently creating systems to replenish basic supplies for building maintenance.
- Handle day to day clerical tasks, such as monitoring email inbox, answering the business phone, helping to plan employee events, and acting as a liaison between the facility and corporate location.
- Assist production manager with tasks as determined by business need.
Requirements

- Customer service skills across in-person, phone, and email communication channels
- Basic computer skills to allow operation in different databases and software products
- Experience with Microsoft suite products is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
