Overview:
As a dog groomer at Playtime Pet Resort, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and happiness of our clients' beloved pets. You will work alongside a team of fellow animal enthusiasts & deliver exceptional grooming services that meet the highest standards of care and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, haircuts, nail trimming, and ear cleaning for various breeds of dogs and cats.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of pets during grooming procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their specific grooming requests.
- Monitor pets for any health issues or abnormalities and report findings to the appropriate staff.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in pet grooming or related fields such as veterinary assistance, kennel care, or animal handling.
- Knowledge of different grooming techniques and styles for various breeds.
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for working with animals.
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments with care and compassion.
- Certification in pet grooming is a plus.
