Job Duties
Job Duties- Drivers will operate vehicles safely, and keep organized and accurate records,. Inform Logistics Coordinator and/or appropriate staff when problems arise:
- Map out and organize daily delivery routes and follow delivery schedules
- Safely operate the equipment necessary (cages, load bars, straps, pallet jacks, maps, and GPS units)
- Unload trucks when returning from runs; load vehicles when necessary
- Complete and keep DOT logs, record and run sheets up to date
- Document shortages and discrepancies and provide this information in a timely manner to appropriate Logistics team member
- Maintain professional communication
- Test vehicles equipment, such as lights, brakes, horns, or windshield wipers, to ensure proper operation, take vehicle to mechanic for service
- Vacuum and clean interiors, and wash and polish exteriors of automobiles
- Transport passengers on a scheduled basis
- Additional second shift hours may be offered
- Transport farm grown products
Requirements
- 12 Months Experience in Duties Listed
- 1 Training Month Listed
- Certification/License Requirements
- Driver Requirements
- Drug Screen
- Lifting Requirement 50lbs
