FULL-TIME MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for being a great team member of this high energy community with 252 apartment homes in Portsmouth, NH. You will assist in maintaining the physical integrity of the community by always providing a quality living environment for our residents. You will work three days on-site in Arlington and two days per week you will rotate to other properties within our Portfolio.
As a Maintenance Technician (MT), your primary responsibilities include:
- Showing care and concern for our residents through excellence in service ticket resolution and preventative maintenance
- Resolving maintenance issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair
- Preparing vacant apartments for move-in through turn-over repairs and improvements
- Preserving the safety of the community through general upkeep and cleanliness, snow removal and ground maintenance
- Providing residents with outstanding customer service
- Working weekends or evenings and being on call for after-hour emergencies
- Operates with OSHA standards and company safety policies
What You Bring to Us:
- Experience in maintenance preferred and/or 1-2 years of experience preferred
- Beginner to intermediate proficiency preferred but not required in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair
- Availability for emergency situations at the property, including an on-call rotation
- Personal, reliable transportation to get to work and to respond to on-call emergencies
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Basic computer skills and comfort using various software, apps and computer programs
