Job Title: Watchman
Location: Springfield, NH

Schedule:
- Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday - Evening through Nights – 4:00 PM – 5:00 AM
(Note: Training & Hours may vary based on production needs.)
Job Summary:
The Watchman is responsible for monitoring the facility to ensure operational flow and safety. This full-time role supports the lumber and wood pellet production environment by maintaining a safe, organized workspace and responding to on-site needs as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular walkthroughs of all facility buildings to monitor operations during shift hours
- Manage the feeding of the sawdust system as needed
- Occasionally operates a front-end loader to load woodchips into the hopper at the pellet plant as needed
- Support production flow and maintain awareness of operations
- Operate and maintain the production flow of the boiler systems.
- Perform seasonal snow removal as needed
- Operate the loader and skid steer as required
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Follow all safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Perform additional duties as assigned

Preferred Education & License:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Driver's License Required
Physical & Work Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Stand and walk continuously; navigate uneven or slippery surfaces
- Hearing protection is required in certain facility zones
- Smoking is restricted to designated areas
