Position Overview
The
Academic Cohort Leader (ACL) works closely with the Dean of Students and Principal to provide daily leadership to an assigned academic cohort. This role is essential in creating a
safe, structured, and engaging learning environment that supports both students and faculty.
This is a
full-time, Monday–Friday day shift position located in
Plymouth, New Hampshire, offering
pay rates up to $50,000, based on experience.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, supervise, and support paraprofessionals and 1:1 faculty, including biweekly supervision
- Maintain clean, organized, and well‑structured classrooms and learning spaces
- Support teachers with classroom routines, expectations, and student engagement strategies
- Coach and model effective classroom management and student regulation techniques
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of required documentation
- Foster a respectful, positive, and student‑centered learning culture
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older
- High School Diploma or GED required (Associate’s degree or higher preferred)
- At least 2 years of experience working with children or youth (school, camp, coaching, childcare, etc.)
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
