Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile person to grow with our small company, we are looking for a hard working individual that will need to labor while also operate equipment as needed, drive under cdl trucks. CDL is a plus but not required *DOT MED CARD IS REQUIRED* This role involves working on jobs that may involve the following: (Heavy and light excavation, underground utilities, drainage, smaller tree work, construction demo, site work/prep, landscape & hardscape, landscape maintenance including, mowing, weed trimming & snow plowing. The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety-conscious, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop hands-on skills and contribute to the successful completion of our projects.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery and equipment safely and efficiently according to company standards
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials or products on-site or at job locations
- Drive company vehicles to transport materials, equipment, or personnel as needed
- Perform general labor tasks including site preparation, cleanup, and maintenance
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations during operations
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance issues
Skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate machinery or ability to learn to operate
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods
- Excellent attention to safety procedures and protocols
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Basic knowledge of construction or industrial environments is a plus
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions accurately
