Are you a Maintenance Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer who would want to work for a multi-billion USD Japanese-owned manufacturer that is heavily investing in fully automating its production plant? Would you value learning directly from two industry veterans, recognised experts in automation-focused mechanical design and robotic programming?
If so, this is a rare opportunity to join a high-investment automation environment within a successful aerospace manufacturer at a pivotal stage of its expansion where they plan to increase headcount by more than 100 people in 2026.
As a Maintenance Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer you’ll:
- Modify and adjust existing robotic code and be trained in how to transition to a design based robotic programming role
- Support commissioning, testing, and ramp-up of new automation and robotic cells
- Work closely with automation and mechanical design engineers to understand system architecture, learning mechanical design along the way
- Gradually take on bespoke projects for robotics programming and automation design to improve efficiency within the plant
The successful Maintenance Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer will be:
- Educated to Bachelor’s degree level in an engineering field
- Experience with robotic programming (modification only is acceptable)
- Proven ability to read, understand, and modify robotic code (ABB, FANUC, UR, or similar)
- Some CAD experience would be preferred (SolidWorks/Inventor) but can be taught
With two industry veterans set to retire towards the end of 2026/early 2027 this is an opportunity to join a growing business who are seeking plant wide automation whilst receiving best in class training.
All applicants will be contacted within one working day, and interviews are happening on an ongoing basis so please apply today to avoid missing out.
