Hospitality Cleaner – Apartelle

About Us

We are a forward-thinking property management and hospitality company that has recently launched a high-end, tech-enabled apartelle in downtown Portsmouth. Our mission is to blend boutique hotel elegance with residential comfort, offering guests a seamless and elevated experience. We’re seeking dedicated Hospitality Cleaners to join our team and support both construction-phase cleaning and ongoing housekeeping operations.

Position Overview

This role will evolve over time. Initially, you’ll focus on construction-related cleaning to prepare the property for opening. Once operational, your responsibilities will shift to maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of guest suites and common areas in line with hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities Pre-Opening (Construction Cleaning Phase):

· Perform deep cleaning of newly constructed units, common areas, and amenities

· Remove construction debris, dust, and residue from surfaces, fixtures, and floors

· Clean windows, walls, ceilings, and baseboards

· Assist with setup and stocking of housekeeping supply rooms

· Report any damage or deficiencies to management

· Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE

Post-Opening (Traditional Housekeeping Phase):

· Clean and service guest suites and common areas including lobbies, hallways, and laundry rooms

· Change linens, make beds, and replenish amenities

· Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize surfaces and bathrooms

· Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas and trash disposal zones

· Respond to guest requests and maintain a welcoming environment

· Document cleaning activities and report maintenance needs

Qualifications

· Prior experience in commercial or hospitality cleaning preferred

· Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures

· Ability to adapt to changing responsibilities and environments

· Tech-savvy and comfortable using mobile devices (iPhone or tablet) to manage room readiness, maintenance updates, and task reporting through digital property systems.

· Strong attention to detail and time management skills

· High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Physical Requirements

· Ability to lift 25–50 lbs, bend, stoop, climb, and stand for prolonged periods

· Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments

· Weekend and holiday availability required
