Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and have a background in office management, ensuring that all administrative functions run smoothly. This role requires effective communication and organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently while providing support to the team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations and ensure a productive work environment
- Manage schedules, appointments, and calendars for staff members
- Coordinate event planning and logistics for company meetings and events
- Supervise administrative staff and provide training and development opportunities
- Handle vendor management, including contracts and relationships with suppliers
- Maintain accurate records through bookkeeping, filing, and payroll processing
- Implement budgeting practices to monitor office expenses effectively
- Ensure compliance with human resources policies and procedures
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and handling multi-line phone systems
- Facilitate effective communication within the team and across departments
Skills
- Proven experience in office management or administrative roles
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in QuickBooks for financial management and bookkeeping tasks
- Experience with schedule management, calendar coordination, and event planning
- Familiarity with payroll processing and human resources functions
- Ability to supervise teams effectively while fostering a collaborative environment
- Knowledge of medical office management is a plus but not required
- Proficient in clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining records
- Strong phone etiquette and customer service skills
