Licensed Journeyman Plumber
$28 – $38 per hour
Hourly rate based on experience and certifications. Overtime and performance bonus potential.
Join the plumbing team installing mechanical systems on New England's largest commercial construction projects. We're hiring licensed ME Journeyman Plumbers who take pride in quality, code-compliant work.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Denron Hall has paid out millions in performance-based bonuses and offers paid vacation and personal days after just 90 days. You'll work alongside experienced foremen on ground-up commercial, healthcare, education, and multifamily projects — installing domestic water, DWV, and gas systems that pass inspection the first time.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Install domestic water, waste, vent, and gas piping systems per mechanical drawings
- Cut, thread, solder, and join pipe using copper, PVC, cast iron, steel, PEX, and ProPress
- Perform underground rough-in, above-grade rough-in, and fixture trim-out
- Read blueprints and lay out work in coordination with your foreman
- Install and test multi-story risers, large-diameter DWV, and pressure piping
- Set fixtures — lavatories, water closets, sinks, water heaters, and specialty equipment
- Pressure-test and DWV-test systems for inspection
- Install pipe hangers, supports, and seismic bracing per specifications
- Mentor and guide apprentices on-the-job
- Manage material needs and communicate them to the foreman
REQUIRED
- ME Journeyman Plumber License
- Valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 4+ years commercial plumbing experience or completed apprenticeship
- Understanding of NH plumbing and gas codes
NICE TO HAVE
- OSHA 10 (we'll provide training if needed)
- Uponor ProPEX Installer Certification (PEX-a cold expansion, ASTM F1960)
- ProPress / MegaPress press-fitting certification
- Gas piping specialization
- Proficiency with multiple connection methods (solder, thread, press, glue, no-hub)
- Blueprint reading ability
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Lift and carry 50+ lbs.
- Prolonged standing, walking, squatting, reaching
- Overhead work and climbing stairs
- Work at varying heights on ladders and scaffold
- Pass a pre-employment physical
- All indoor and outdoor climates
