Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining elevators and other lifting devices. Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation of equipment that keeps production moving and personnel safe. Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain elevators and related lifting systems using schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing tools to diagnose issues accurately.
- Perform hydraulic system repairs and adjustments to optimize performance.
- Use programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot control systems and implement necessary updates or repairs.
- Conduct field service operations including working on high voltage and low voltage electrical components safely.
- Follow schematics and technical drawings precisely during repairs or installations to ensure accuracy.
- Apply welding skills, as well as various welding techniques when fabricating or repairing structural components (preferred, but not mandatory).
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with team members and clients about work progress or issues encountered.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience installing and maintaining lifts in a residential or commercial environment.
- Elevator Mechanic licensure in the state of New Hampshire AND/OR Vermont.
- Possession of a current driver's license in good standing.
Pay: From $45.00 per hour
