This organization manufactures highly engineered precision components for demanding aerospace, defense and industrial applications. Operating across multiple facilities, the business combines advanced CNC machining, precision manufacturing and operational excellence to deliver critical products where quality and reliability are essential.
The Director of Operations will work directly alongside the President during an initial transition period, gaining deep insight into the business, its customers and strategic objectives. Following this onboarding phase, you will assume leadership of multisite operations with responsibility for performance, profitability and long term operational strategy.
As the Director of Operations your responsibilities will include
- Leading Plant Managers and General Managers across multiple facilities
- Driving improvements in productivity, machine utilization and operational efficiency
- Establishing consistent standards, metrics and accountability across sites
- Improving performance across safety, quality, delivery and cost objectives
- Supporting long term business growth through operational and capital planning
As the Director of Operations you will bring
- Leadership experience within CNC machining or precision manufacturing environments
- Proven success leading multisite manufacturing operations
- Experience managing through Plant Managers or site leadership teams
- Strong understanding of operational metrics, process capability and continuous improvement
- Commercial acumen with experience influencing or owning P&L performance
