Overview
To sanitize all kitchen areas and equipment, ensuring the proper cleanliness of all food preparation and service areas.
Essential Functions
- Cleaning and sanitizing all kitchen equipment, stoves, grills, prep tables, etc.
- Cleaning and sanitizing all kitchen area, floors and walls.
- Completes other duties as assigned.
- Heavy duty cleaning of ovens, hoods, grills sinks, wall, floors and other heavy equipment.
- Vacuum carpeted areas throughout the food and beverage outlets.
- Wash tile floors in all food and beverage areas.
Tools And Equipment
- Coffee maker/urn, beverage machines, bus trays, dishware, silverware, glassware, queen-mary cart, broom, mop, bucket, cart.
Working Environment
- Interior of hotel, in all Food and Beverage areas, with exposure to humidity and extreme temperatures.
- Exposure to Food and Beverage hazardous cleaning chemicals.
- Exposure to food items and beverages.
Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
- Must be able to communicate respectfully and work in a team atmosphere.
- Must be able to read, write and comprehend English.
- Must be available to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
