We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Director of Financial Operations to join our team. Reporting directly to the CFO/COO, this role is crucial in providing data-driven insights and strategic analysis to support all departments across the organization. Your work will ensure that team members and leadership have the necessary financial, operational, and compliance-related information to operate efficiently and effectively.

On a typical day, you will:
- Provide analytical support to the CFO/COO, Directors, and other organizational leaders.
- Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly financial reports, including KPIs and variance/trend analyses.
- Develop and maintain models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
- Assist with the implementation and optimization of systems for accounting, billing, payroll, HR, and related functions.
- Support marketing efforts through financial review of resident qualifications and contract documentation.
- Provide HR-related analysis on staffing, compensation, benefits, and policies.
- Evaluate organizational systems, policies, and procedures; recommend and help implement improvements.
- Support department heads with financial reviews to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with frontline staff to identify and address areas for operational and financial improvements.
- Review compliance programs and assist with policy enhancement and best practice implementation.
What You Bring to the Team
- A curious and analytical mindset with the ability to distill key insights from complex data sets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- CPA or similar licensure preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role—experience in senior living, healthcare, or non-profit organizations is a plus.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills.
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, database administration, and analytical tools.
