Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our restaurant. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality to create memorable dining experiences.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
- Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials or promotions.
- Assist with guest inquiries and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, addressing inquiries about the menu, reservations, and special requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and dining area.
- Support guest relations by addressing any concerns or feedback promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Host/Host or in food service is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Experience in restaurant or hotel environments is advantageous.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
