These rewarding 1:1 assignments involve working closely with individual students, providing the assistance and support they need to succeed.
We are currently looking for a paraprofessional for a student in 12th grade at a school in Northwood, NH. We need someone who is Registered in Behavioral Tech, has experience in behavioral management, data collection, working independently, knows the Heimlich, and is CPR/First Aid certified.
Provide direct support to students - typically on a 1:1 assignment.
Assist with academic tasks, classroom activities, personal care support, and social-emotional development.
Help foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

We ensure our caregivers have the skills they need to be successful in caring for our clients through competency demonstration in our on-site simulation lab. We also offer client-specific skill enhancement opportunities in the home when indicated. Necessary personal protective equipment is provided so that you can feel confident and safe when you care for your clients.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience working with children with intellectual / physical disabilities
- Ability to obtain BLS CPR certification. (in house classes are offered at a reduced rate)
- Recent wellness exam and negative TB skin test (provided if needed)
- Ability to pass a comprehensive fingerprint/background check and drug screening.
- Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
