Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching transportation vehicles efficiently to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Duties
- Utilize transportation management systems to schedule and dispatch drivers
- Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal teams
- Coordinate fleet management activities to optimize delivery routes
- Monitor and track freight movements
- Assist in transportation planning and logistics coordination
- Utilize 3PL systems for efficient operations
- Familiarity with SyteLine software is a plus
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and in a timely manner
Experience
- Proven experience in dispatching or related field
- Knowledge of supply chain processes and logistics operations
- Strong communication skills and ability to multitask effectively
- Proficiency in using transportation management systems
- Experience with dispatching, routing, and tracking vehicles is preferred
