Job Description:
Purple Finch Events is seeking a full-time Graphic Designer for Production & Events to join our creative team supporting mission-driven nonprofit clients across New Hampshire and beyond. This role focuses on translating design direction into cohesive visual suites for fundraising events, capital campaigns, community initiatives, and internal projects. You will collaborate closely with our Creative Design Manager as well as clients during revision and approval cycles to bring collateral from concept to final delivery.
This is a production-forward, detail-oriented role involving timelines, version management, file preparation, and final production. We are a remote-first office with the ability to meet in coworking spaces as needed. Because of this structure, the ideal candidate is highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable managing deadlines without daily oversight.
Why Join The Flock?
Working at Purple Finch Events means using your craft to help nonprofit organizations tell their stories, grow their impact, and strengthen their communities. The work you create directly supports causes across housing, food security, arts and culture, youth services, and health. You’ll gain experience in full-suite design across print, digital, and live event environments, collaborate with a small creative team that values thoughtful design and clean execution, and build a portfolio filled with meaningful, mission-driven work. We offer a remote-first culture, opportunities for coworking and collaboration, and a creative environment that rewards curiosity, reliability, and kindness.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce full design suites across pre-event and day-of collateral, including:

Day-of assets
- Programs & booklets
- Menus, table numbers, place cards
- Signage (registration, cocktail, restroom, directional, etc.)
- Stage & large-format displays

- Client Edits & Versioning WorkflowApply internal and client edits across asset suites
- Maintain version history and consistency
- Coordinate revision timelines and approvals
- Communicate clearly and professionally during review cycles
- Ensure accuracy in final deliverables
Some assets may be shared via Canva for controlled client edits (e.g., sponsor names, agendas, titles), and the designer ensures formatting and visual quality remain intact.
Print Production & Vendor CoordinationThis role includes ownership of preparing final files for production, including:
- Preparing print-ready files with bleeds, crop marks, safe zones, and correct color profiles
- Managing production timelines and scheduling with print vendors
- Coordinating proofs and approvals with internal and client teams
- Reviewing proofs for accuracy prior to print
- Supporting reprints or quantity adjustments as required
Experience with large-format or specialty print vendors is a plus.
Deadlines & Live Event AdaptabilityBecause our work supports live events with fixed dates, assets sometimes require:
- accelerated revision cycles
- sponsor/guest list updates
- signage changes
- quantity adjustments
- additional reprints
- AV/digital deck updates
The designer must remain calm, organized, and solution-focused under time-sensitive conditions.

- Have patience for iteration and revision-based work
- Can work calmly under deadline pressure and shifting information
- Understand that sometimes “done well and on time” matters most
