Trueline's client, a trusted partner to commercial and institutional builders throughout New England, is seeking a Junior Project Coordinator / Assistant Project Manager to join their team across project sites and office locations in the region. This is an ideal opportunity for an early-career professional eager to launch a career in construction project management while learning directly from industry experts.
This hybrid role offers a blend of hands-on field exposure and structured office training to build foundational skills in estimating, coordination, and project delivery. You’ll gain real-world insight into how complex building-envelope projects come together and advance toward a full Assistant Project Manager track.
What You'll Do as the Junior Project Coordinator / Assistant Project Manager:
Support project managers with planning, documentation, and day-to-day coordination
Assist with quantity takeoffs and cost estimating for proposals and bids
Participate in meetings and facilitate communication between vendors, crews, and internal teams
Help prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, and schedule updates
Visit job sites to observe progress, track performance, and understand field operations
Learn construction software, reporting tools, and best practices from experienced PMs
Must-Haves as the Junior Project Coordinator / Assistant Project Manager:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
Demonstrated interest in commercial construction and project execution
Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills
Ability to work in both office and jobsite settings
Self-motivation, curiosity, and a willingness to grow into greater responsibility
Nice-to-Haves as the Junior Project Coordinator / Assistant Project Manager:
Familiarity with project scheduling or estimating software
Internship or co-op experience on construction projects
Understanding of building systems, materials, or the building envelope
Basic knowledge of construction drawings and specifications
