Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate New Patient Coordinator to join our healthcare team! In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for new patients, guiding them through the onboarding process with enthusiasm and professionalism. Responsibilities
- Greet new patients warmly and efficiently manage intake procedures to ensure a positive first impression
- Review and update patient medical records, including documentation review for completeness and accuracy in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Maintain detailed records of patient interactions, insurance information, and appointment schedules with excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office applications
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone etiquette on multi-line phone systems and in-person interactions at the front desk or reception area
Qualifications
- Exceptional communication skills with a focus on patient service and office professionalism
- Ability to handle sensitive health information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines while maintaining confidentiality
- Prior clinic or dental office experience is preferred; familiarity with dental terminology is advantageous
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and appointment coordination
