Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Carpenter to join the Legacy Lake Builders team. In this role, you will support various project activities, assist skilled tradespeople, and ensure smooth operations across job sites. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in diverse aspects of marine construction and restoration. The ideal candidate is energetic, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to high-quality projects that make a real impact.
Experience in framing and general understanding of wood construction is a plus. Our work is mainly focused on docking, boathouses, building stabilization and island construction.
NH boating license or equivalent is a preferred.
We have year-round work - most of our work is outdoors and we work in all weather conditions. We have multiple boats and barges, providing setups that make work easy and efficient.
Responsibilities
- Perform carpentry tasks including, building stabilization and finishing work using hand tools and power tools.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project plans.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols at all times.

Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour
