As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting café environment, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your ability to manage time effectively and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting will be essential to your success in this role.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and serve coffee and beverages
- Deliver excellent customer service and actively engage with guests
- Use sales skills to recommend products, upsell, and drive store sales
- Operate POS systems and handle transactions accurately
- Assist with food preparation and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and follow all food safety standards
What We’re Looking For
- Coffee shop experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong sales and customer engagement skills (required)
- Reliable, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
- Weekend availability required
Skills Required:
- Previous barista experience or experience in the food service industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy café setting.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math applications.
- Knowledge of food safety practices related to food preparation and handling is essential.
